friday favorites

This week was back to school for Claire and I.  I'll be honest...it's been rough.  Waking up before the sun, making lunches the night before, having our clothes out and ready before bed, making sure our teeth are brushed....it's kicking my booty.  But it's a season, and I'm loving our 40 minute drives to and from school with my girl.  It's so fun hearing about school from her perspective!

I love these pics from the first  day of school to Thursday afternoon on the drive home! :)

This week has been tough with keeping up with blogging, responding to comments, etc.  I miss it.  At least I miss it being a consistent part of my day.  BY the time I get home in the afternoons, I'm so tired...Judy is also kicking my booty...or my belly!  BUT...I am still reading blogs, at 5:00am, at 10:00pm, even in the middle of the night when I can't sleep....bleh!  So here are a few of my favorites from this week...and I WILL be reading your favorites, too!!

Alicia wrote out 32 things she's learned since turning 30. I love reflective posts.

I love how Cassie shared her heart in this post...so real and genuine.  I loved reading posts like this this past week.  My heart is feeling a little raw, a lot of stirring going on.  I'm always encouraged by others realness.

This post about essential blogging resources is fantastic...it's one post of a collection of other posts, so it includes a lot of details!  Thank you Jenna!

I love Emily's heart.  This post is beautiful, honest, genuine, raw...definitely a must read, as I know many of us have gone through or are going through similar heart pains.  Thank you, Emily, for being so real!

I can only imagine how tough it is to get back in a rhythm after a summer off! I'm checking out these links now!

The hardest part has been the waking up part. It's horrible getting out of bed before the sun! Once I'm up, I'm good...until just after lunch. Then all I want is a nap! :)
