currently || claire edition

I love reading Currently posts and I recently read someone's that they did for their 3 year old.  It was super cute.  But it was all from the mom's perspective of her child (clearly with a 3 year old, having mom do it was probably best).  I got the idea to have Claire do a Currently post, so I asked her each question and typed out her literal answer.

thinking:  ummmm...about my dreams. why do you want to know? (quick explanation)...I was dreaming about being a baby and I was driving a car connected to your car.

enjoying:  playing with Sierra. (her bff who she met in kinder.  they're in the same 1st grade class this year!!)

feeling:  excited to go to the Teddy Bear picnic (a 1st grade activity).  Also for Christmas and the baby.

wearing:  uniforms....and my new pink shoes (Vans...they're so cute on little people!)

needing:  to go to school. (super surprised by this answer, but so proud!)

wanting:  a gymnastics outfit.  and Stretchkins.  and American Girl stuff.  and the baby to come.

listening:  Wicked...  (so proud...can't wait to take her to her first show!!)...and Disney princess music, and AWANA songs (Firmly AWANA stands....led by the Lord's commands....).

making:  friends.  like the girl on the playground.  Oh really?!?  What's her name?  I have no idea.  Awesome.

eating:  strawberries, peppers, sandwiches, and snacks.

drinking:  water, strawberry kefir.

I feel so blessed to get to be this girl's momma.  She's helped to mold and shape me into the person I am today.  She's made me more selfless, work harder than I ever have, love harder than I ever thought possible.  I love her heart, how desires to reach out to people, how she guards it, and how she's faling more in love with Jesus.  The other day she said, "Jesus made 2 of my wishes come true.  First I prayed for a dog and we got Coco.  I also prayed for a baby and we're getting one!"  It's so awesome to see these truths start to be displayed in her little life.  And I can't wait to see her become a big sister.  She's going to be amazing!

What a sweet little girl! This is such a fun idea to have your kids answer these questions. I'll have to save that idea for the future. ;) My daughter is only 3 months old so I'll have to answer for her for now. :)

Thank you!! It was fun to do it with her. Kinda making me start thinking how I can use her to write more posts! :) And yes, she can't talk about Judy without getting a huge smile on her face!! Can't wait for them to actually meet.

holy cuteness, batman! she's adorable. I get the same kind of stuff like this: "Oh really?!? What's her name? I have no idea. Awesome." from my four year old. I laughed so hard. We also love kefir in our house! YUM!

Oh thank you! Haha...kids are so funny! Claire's had these 1 liners lately that are just killing me! Where do they come up with this stuff?? Have you ever tried making your own kefir?? A friend of mine does, and I'd like to try sometime, as I'm sure it's way better for you, but I'm sure it's a pain in the rear!
