grateful heart and a GIVEAWAY!

This week I'm so grateful for friends.  And not just the friends I've met and hang out with on a regular basis, but the friends I've met through this little space here.  I know we've all said it before and a lot of us feel the same way, but to find people, who become your people, even though you've never met?!?  It's a beautiful thing.  When you can connect, and inspire, and love, and encourage people you've never met, that's when you know your heart's have connected....and it makes our huge world feel so small!

I've loved getting to know Cassie from Sage the Blog over the last few months.  She's recently married, has huge love for Jesus, and a genuine heart.  I'm so grateful our paths have crossed and that she's become an online (hopefully someday real life) friend.  A couple weeks ago she asked me if I would want to team up with her for a fun fall giveaway and right away, my answer was yes!  We're giving away a beautiful scarf from Gertie and Baxter...and I don't think you'll want to miss out!

Gertie and Baxter infinity knit scarf

I CANNOT believe it is almost already October! A month ago I wasn't ready to let go of summer, but as the weather has cooled down I have been able to let go a little bit! I just love boots, denim, and chunky scarves, all of which come with Fall. Knowing this has made the transition a little bit easier!

If you know me well, you're probably familiar with my scarf obsession. I could probably fill a whole closet with scarves if my husband would let me. With my obsession, it goes without saying that I was OVERJOYED to get my first new scarf of the season. The vintage brown chunky infinity scarf by Gertie and Baxter is TO DIE FOR.The knitted material is incredibly soft, durable, and warm plus it pairs perfectly with a leather jacket! Each scarf is handmade with local materials from LA and Chicago, now how can you beat that?!

I cannot say enough good things about the quality of service I received from the owner, Julie. She was incredibly laid back and easy to work with. The scarf arrived in an adorable little package and in record time! You can't beat fast service. Am I right? I will definitely be purchasing Christmas gifts from Gertie and Baxter this holiday season!

I know exactly what you mean about blogging friends...isn't it amazing that we can get close to people that we have never met? And connect so wonderfully! I second the gratitude for that! Beautiful scarf!

Beautiful scarf! I'm super grateful for online friends who become real-life friends, even if you've yet to actually meet them in person yet. I am grateful for YOU!

Yes! It really is amazing! And being so introverted, I'm thankful for it. It's been a way for me to put myself out there, but feeling safe. I don't even know if that makes sense.

Scarves are the best...although the amount of time we get to wear them in San Diego is a blink! Still a fun accessory that serves no purpose other than to look cute! :)

I really like the purple leather jacket you are wearing, who makes it? As far as the scarf goes I am really liking the oversized long sleeve shirt to pair with the scarf.
