october goals

September goals:
*plan a short family trip for the end of October
*read 1 book (I read this one and I highly recommend).
*CLEAN CLAIRE'S FORT!
*Pilates.
*Beach Sundays...until the weather is too cool to go anymore.  We just never did this, which makes me sad.
*dog school with Coco (this is something Steve is actually taking care of)

Back to School goals for our family (Sept):
*grocery shop on the weekend for all breakfasts, snacks, lunches, and dinners.
*complete laundry for the week on Thursday or Friday.
*set up regular chores for Claire on her chart, as well as a regular homework routine.
*Claire in bed by 8:00, me by 10:00....so early!!
*outfits laid out the night before.

I think I did a pretty good job...kinda proud of myself for September!  Keeping is short and simple-ish for October.  I don't want to take on too much for Judy's sake, plus everything just takes so much energy these days.  It's crazy how quickly I get physically and mentally worn out.  So here are my....

October Goals:
*finish Christmas shopping.  I've done a bunch already, but I want to have it all done by the end of October since I know I won't want to take care of it once Judy comes!
*clean out/organize Judy's room.
*clean out/organize Claire's room (didn't I just do this?!?).
*read one book.  I'm hoping to read this one and join this link-up.

Ok...that sounds good.  There are so many more things I want to tackle, but it's just not going to happen!  What about you?  What are some of your goals for this month?

You had a really productive September! Good luck with your October goals. I'm super impressed that you are almost done with your Christmas shopping..... I want to get it done early as well, but I don't know where to start without all the holiday sales to guide me!

you did really well for Sept! Too bad you didn't get the beach trip in. I wanna go to the beach so badly! Good luck with the girls' rooms. PS: check your email, missy! haha

Claire just collects crap...and has a billion toys! When she was gone last weekend, I literally threw away 2 trash bags of stuff I was just done with! Of course she hasn't noticed one thing missing! I need to send her away again before baby so I can do one more big clean out. I hate spending my Saturdays doing that, but it feels so good when it's all done! You still have a few more weeks...plus, babies don't need much to start with!

I started with Amazon! I've been collecting ideas and making wish lists for several months, so I just decided to go for it and start! Since babe #2 is coming in December, I needed to get a good head start! We'll see if I actually finish by the end of Oct.

Oh no...you are so not a slacker! I'm usually shopping til Dec 24. But babe #2 is coming in December, so I need to get it all done! This is me being Type A! :)

Thank you I didn't feel like I did that well until I went back over the list. So I'm stoked...still have so much to do to get ready for Judy, but it'll happen! And yes...I miss the beach! :(

I have to do goals during the school year. It's the only way I can actually stay on top of things!!

I am SO impressed that you have started on your Christmas shopping! Every year I tell myself I will do it early and I have yet to haha. This year though I have 3 weeks stateside that I NEED to get it done so that I can mail it to family before heading back…it's a goal, let's see if I can do it!

GREAT goals! And man oh man, I am impressed by your Christmas shopping! I'm trying to get started ;)

I so need to do that! We turned our dining room into a play room, & Kenzie has so much CRAP! I may have to bag up some & take it to Good Will. Her bday & Christmas is so close, meaning more CRAP to add.

Well thank you. Most of it is from internet shopping. :) And babe #2 is due to make it's entrance into the world mid-December, so I know I need to get it done now! Typically I'm still out shopping on Dec. 24! :)

Usually I start my shopping in November/December, but with babe #2 coming in mid-December, I know I need to get it done...otherwise it just won't happen! Right now I'm very thankful for Amazon Prime! :)

You are ahead of me in Christmas shopping. I will just be beginning this month! :)

I'm not usually this organized with my shopping...but I'm due to have baby #2 mid-December, so I need to get it done. Otherwise, it just won't happen! :)

I have some Christmas shopping done, but I am not sure I will finish this month. Good for you!

Thank you!! I've never had it done that early, but with baby #2 coming mid-December, I gotta be ahead of the game!! :)
