Friday Favorites & the Guy Behind the Blog

Steve's Birthday...2004
This week I'm linking up with two fab gals...Betsy from Heavens to Betsy for The Guy Behind the Blog, and Meagan from All the Joys for Friday Favorites (it's been too long since I've participated!!).

I always love reading these posts by others, so I thought I would interview Steve.  He put so much
thought into each of these questions, it was awesome.  If only he put the same amount of thought and determination into keeping our bathroom and bedroom clean....

If you could write a book, what topic would you write about and why?

S: I don't get time to think about it? I honestly need time to think. (I throw out a few ideas)(finally....)
The production industry, the constant changes in it, and where I think it's going next.

What is one thing on your bucket list, or one thing you'd like to do or accomplish in your lifetime?

S: Meeting Rush Limbaugh is on my bucket list. I would love to program and design the Grammy's.
To me that's the ultimate accomplishment in my line of work (he's a lighting designer/programer for
concerts, shows, corporate events, etc.) (Betsy...maybe our guys will be there together one day!!  And we can be seat-fillers. :)).

If you could look out your window and only see one view for the rest of your life, what would you want to see?

A: I know.
S: What?
A: A wakeboard boat on a lake.
S: Almost. A 23 foot V Drive Malibu (wakeboard boat) docked on a glass smooth lake.

Imagine you're opening a shop. What are you selling?

S: Probably guns. It wouldn't be fun to own a production supply shop.
A: No, that sounds horrible!

If you could have 50lbs of anything other than money, what would it be?

S: 50lbs worth of ammo.

Time to brag on your girl....tell us one thing that makes you proud of your wife.

S: 1 thing?
A: I know, it's hard to pick just one.
S: Seriously. I don't know what one thing to say. It can't be a sentence? Like it has to just be one thing?
A: You can say a sentence.
S: I'm proud of you that after working so hard to teach and start a family, you're willing to completely
go into something new with your oils business.

What a guy...can't believe we've spent the last 13 years by each other's side!  He's seriously always been so encouraging, pushing me to go for my dreams, always so determined to reach his own goals, and keeping me laughing the whole way.  So thankful for him.

Ok...now here are some of my favorite posts from this week:
