grateful heart

I've said it before...I'm so grateful for my sisters and their hubs.  And I'm especially grateful for the way they all love my kids.

This weekend, we celebrated my bro-in-law, Drew's birthday with some mini-golf.  Which is always fun in my we're-super-competitive-but-we're-pretending-like-we're-not family.  And then there's Claire...not an athletic bone in her body...unless twirling with a miniature golf club counts?!?  And again...I don't have any pics to document.  #momfail

But once again I was reminded of how grateful I am for these aunties and uncles that Claire and Jude have in their lives.  I'm grateful for the way they love my kids.  For the way they teach them.  I'm grateful for the fun they have together.  And I'm grateful for the time they invest.

(I'm bummed this video is so dark, but it's of Claire go-karting with my brother, Drew.  She had the.best.time.  So fun!!)

not having pictures isn't a mom fail! it just means you were really in the moment & having the best time. :) I'm so happy that you had fun! moments like this are truly something to be cherished.

Yes siblings are the best. I definitely pray that my girls will have what I have with my sister. It's priceless. And I sometimes laugh at myself and people who are taking photos and so focused on that but they are missing the moment and not even enjoying it. Almost ruin it at times. I guess maybe that's what I'm telling myself and preparing to tell number 3 one day when she asks why she has no photos.

Twirling with a miniature golf club - haha!! Totally counts! I am close to my aunts and uncles, two of them especially, and it's just so special! I'm looking forward to the day my bro becomes a dad! :)

Hahaha!! Oh man...she's such a girlie girl!! Isn't it the best having aunts and uncles that you're close to? I do too, and I think it makes me appreciate my sisters and brothers and their relationships with my kids that much more. And...I can't wait to be an auntie! I always tell my sisters I'm going to rock at it! :)
