Grateful Heart

This week has been full of little blessings. The kind that don't stand out, you have to look for them. And then you realize their significance. They may seem small, not important, but they're the ones that  turn out to be big, game changers, eye openers. Those are the kind I've had this week and it's made me grateful.

+ family (Steve's aunt & uncle are here visiting, I just love them!!)
+ maternity leave
+ safety (Steve was in a car accident, our car was totaled, but he walked away with minor injuries)
+ parents who serve without expecting anything in return
+ a fresh haircut
+ dental insurance
+ time with my sweet girl
+ a happy, easy-going babe
+ an amazing school for Claire to attend
+ sleeping through the night

I love sharing these blessings. By writing them out, they remind me again of how much I have to be grateful for. Life can be so overwhelming and hard sometimes, but by keeping my focus on the the things I'm grateful for....no matter how big or small....I'm able to stay grounded and constantly give thanks for all I've been blessed with.

Praise that Steve is okay, Amy!!!!! I hope he found some rest this weekend with you guys! (I'll be getting my hair done next week for the first time in a long, long time - it's amazing how even a trim can make you feel like a new person!) :)

Me too....kinda puts everything into perspective, ya know?!? And it was a great reminder that the car was just a worldly possession!

I wish I could say we are still sleeping through the night, but that was a quick stage we went through! :) Oh well....it's not for forever, right?!?
