August || in photos

Oh August...you came and went like a flash and I'm SO tired from you.  It was a month of change, relaxation, and working so hard I'm exhausted.  It was beautiful, hot, and full of adventure.  There's parts of you I want to do over and parts I never want to think about again.  But here we are at the end of you, which means the end of summer.  And that is so very bittersweet.  Hoping for slower, more settled times in September...

(This first set of pics is from our camping trip to Yosemite National Park.)

Yeah, I mean - you weren't busy at all! ;) Such great moments captured though!! I love the one of Claire and her baby brother! So sweet.

Oh thank you! I never wanted to be that mom who only posts about her kids, but I am totally becoming her. :/ Yosemite is our favorite...been camping there for 24 years!

Haha...I know, slightly ridiculous! BUT...we're winding down and getting settled. FINALLY! :) Now I need to get serious about my blog. It seriously needs some work. Now that we're moved and I'm part time, hoping to get back on my game. :)

Such a fun way to look back on your month! My August has been exhausting too - I'm looking forward to September and a new routine!

Yes!! Moving is hard...can't imagine moving to a whole new tow, state, community, etc. But there was definitely a lot of good mixed in with the hard. I love making these collages...it's fun to go back and look and what we did through the month and I'm hoping I'll go back later and remember these crazy stages with my kids!
