Fall Recipes || and a Giveaway

It's so not fall here in sunny San Diego, but we can pretend!  Which is exactly what I'm doing.  If you've followed me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE essential oils and have made them part of my family's everyday lives over the last 2 years.  I'm so grateful to have found something SAFE, something that WORKS, and something that has greatly benefitted our HEALTH and WELLNESS in our every day lives.

So since it's not yet feeling like fall, I'm using my essential oils to help make our home feel fall-ish. Here are some of my favorite diffuser recipes that I am constantly using:

Autumn Spice
4 drops Orange
1 drop Cinnamon
1 drop Clove
1 drop Nutmeg

Pumpkin Pie
5 drops Cinnamon
1 drop Clove
1 drop Nutmeg

Spiced Cider
4 drops Orange
3 drops Cinnamon
3 drops Ginger

Orange Spice
5 drops Orange
1 drop Cinnamon
1 drop Thieves

I also love making scrubs, sprays, and roller ball recipes using my essential oils.  Here are a few of my favorites to make:

Pumpkin Spice Scented Sugar Scrub
+ 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
+ 1/4 cup white sugar
+ 1 drop Cinnamon essential oil
+ 1 drop Clove essential oil
+ 1 drop Ginger essential oil
+ 1 drop Nutmeg essential oil
+ 1/4 cup almond or jojoba oil
+ 1 Tbsp. honey
Combine sugars in a mixing bowl. Mix oils and honey together in a separate container. Combine liquid mixture with sugars in mixing bowl and stir until it reaches desired texture, adding more oil or sugar if necessary. Transfer to mason jar or other container and enjoy!

Thieves Spray
+ 2 oz. dark glass spray bottle
+ 1 tsp. organic witch hazel
+ 10-15 drops Thieves oil
+ almost 2 oz distilled water

I use this spray to
+ clean baby toys
+ sanitize public restroom toilet seats
+ clean cutting boards
+ wash fruits and veggies
+ spray in rooms to freshen the smell

Thieves Roller Bottle:
+ 10 ml glass roller bottle
+ 25-30 drops of Thieves oil
+ 15 drops of Clove oil
+ fill the rest of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil

I use this on my kids feet before we go anywhere there may be a lot of germs, i.e. school, church, the grocery store, theme parks, airplanes, playdates, etc.

These are just a few ways I use oils in our daily lives.  They've been a game changer for us, and even though we still get sick, it's definitely been less often and the symptoms go away much quicker.

Thank you!! It's such a fun time of year with all the colors and smells. :) I put out all my decor the other day and my diffuser constantly has some sort of cinnamon coming from it. I love it! Even though it's still in the 90's outside!

Awesome recipes - pinning this! (And I need to buy a few more to make these!)

Yes! Most of them are pretty inexpensive. I like to have them anyway, because they make my Thieves last longer. :)

Wow what a great resource for fall essential oil combos! I've been going back and forth about getting a diffuser and I really think I just need to bite the bullet and buy one-- so many possibilities!
