30 Ways to Use Essential Oils || Day 2

Last week I started writing about 30 ways to use your oils in your daily life.  Today is day 2 of 5.  I've been using essential oils in my daily life for about 1.5 years now and they've made such a difference in how I view health and wellness.  I hope these ideas inspire you and give you some easy ways to incorporate oils into your daily routine.....

10. the man in my life || Hubs loves this oily combo after he shaves in the morning: 20-30 drops of each in a roller bottle, lavender, purification & tea tree. Fill the rest of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil (or carrier oil of choice). He applies this on his face each morning after shaving and at night before bed.

11. before/after ||  I started making my own glass cleaner in an effort to clean my house of chemicals. Here's my recipe: in an 8 oz glass spray bottle, mix 5 oz. water, a little less than 3 oz, vinegar, 16 drops of orange essential oil, and 6 drops of lemon essential oil.

12. something new || Something new to me....loving patchouli. I bought it because I'd heard amazing things, but didn't love it for a long time. I recently decided to try it again, and now I diffuse this combo all the time. My students especially love it at school.

13. fave oil ||  I think it's safe to say Thieves is my favorite oil. It's my first oily love and we literally have it in every room of the house. Our home is tiny, but you just never know! ☺️ I love that my kids can safely use it everyday. We diffuse it, roll it on our feet, wear it on our diffuser necklaces, and drink it in tea.

14. first things first || First things first....these are a few of the oils I use first thing in the morning: DiGize on my tummy to keep the digestive system rolling, Clarity on the back of my neck, Tea Tree with my toner, Myrrh & Geranium with my moisturizer, and Aroma Life & Ylang Ylang to support my cardio system (a drop on my wrists and a drop over my heart).

15. in my bag || These 3 are always in my bag: thieves for germs, peppermint for everything, stress away for frazzled mommy and crazy kids!! 

16. case of the mondays || I actually love Monday mornings. Mostly because I no longer work on them. I get up early with the babe, put this combo in the diffuser, make my coffee, and slowly get my big girl up and ready for school. When we get home from school drop-off, the house smells heavenly and I feel like I can accomplish all the things. If you haven't tried this combo yet, I highly suggest you get to it!!

17. good night || My bedtime routine: coconut oil & lavender EO on my legs, Ortho Ease & Aroma Siez on my neck and shoulders, Cedarwood & Dream Catcher in my diffuser. Now that I've found this magical combo, I wake up feeling completely rested.

18. laundry || I started using Thieves laundry detergent a couple months ago and I love it. It's the tiniest bottle but it lasts a long time. I always throw a couple wool dryer balls in the dryer and I love how quickly my laundry dries with them in there. Sometimes I'll put a few drops of EOs on them when I'm drying towels or sheets....makes everything smell so fresh!

These are great! I especially like the idea of using patchouli in the classroom. Brilliant!

Thanks Nikki! And yes...ALL the oils int he classroom! The kids love it an it makes such a positive difference. :)
